This event is not to be mixed up the Rally Ireland weekend

The first ever Rally Ireland will take place this year from October 14-16 in the northwest of Ireland. Sligo will be the host city for Rally Ireland with the Service Park based at St. Angelo Airport, Enniskillen.

Rally is another word for meeting I presume.

Rally sounds more exciting though?

There are a number of different types of meetings at the festival.

Most of them have a speaker or two and then an open discussion. A couple of them are set piece debates between platform speakers, also with a discussion afterwards. Two of the meetings will not have the usual open discussion and are thus described as "rallies".

Socialist Youth Summer Festival:

Trying to challenge Féile an Phobail are we?

author by derrickpublication date Fri Aug 26, 2005 17:14author address author phone

Sounds like they are trying tho challenge it. Maybe some of the Nordy Twin Cam Boys from the Rally could come down and sort out this political rally.

Where do people get the idea that Socialist Youth are trying to compete with Feile an Phobail? Or is it just another childish excuse to 'have a go' at political rivals?
