From Global to Local - No to Shell /Statoil's pipeline
After a public meeting held in Swords last week, attended by Brid O'Seighin (daughter of Micheal - one of the jailed men), it was decided that a protest be held outside Statoil Service Station Main Street, Swords,at 6pm on Thursday 21st July to highlight the plight of the Mayo people in particular the 5 jailed men.
After a public meeting held in Swords last week, attended by Brid O'Seighin (daughter of Micheal - one of the jailed men), it was decided that a protest be held outside Statoil Service Station, Main Street, Swords,at 6pm on Thursday 21st July to higlight the plight of the Mayo people in particular the 5 jailed men. The aim of the protest is for motorists to boycott Shell and Statoil.
Since last week, protesters at Shell and Statoil have brought these garages to a viritual standstill. So if you live in Swords or in around the surrounding area, show your support for the 5 jailed men and say NO to their Pipeline. An injury to one is an injury to all. See you There!
