Talk at the Digital Hub on on-street interventions
Last summer a postbox near Croke Park was briefly restored to its original Edwardian condition, that is, it was painted bright red. This change was meant to explore some of the undercurrents in the postcolonial nature of Irish society.
As part of the current exhibition at the Digital Hub in Thomas Street, Dublin artist Tadhg McGrath will give a short talk about some of his work, which has included alterations to street furniture and the urban landscape.
To find out what happened to the postbox, come along at 12.45PM. Admission is free.
VENUE: The Digital Hub, 10-13 Thomas Dublin 8 (near McGruder's Pub).
DATE: Saturday 18th of June
TIME: 12.45PM
