Conference to be held on religious peace

Violence is often attributed to religious roots in spite of all religions' claim that they are founded on peace.

The Interfaith Roundtable and Saor Ollscoil Na hEireann will be hosting a religious peace conference on 16 July 2005 in the Castleknock Parish Centre under the theme:
'Towards a new religious model for global peace'

Speakers will include Dr.Brendan Duddy, Dr. Joseph Watson and Dr Emmanuel Bezzina amongst others.
registration fee is 20 euro and includes Refreshments.

A conference of this nature is long overdue.
It would be very interesting and I look forward to attending. I encourage my fellow citizens to also attend and let us deliberate this important discourse on this historic day at this historic occasion.
