Global Boycott Proctor & Gamble Day

The Irish Anti Vivisection (IAVS) and the Alliance For Animal Rights (AFAR) are again highlighting the worldwide boycott of P&G with a peaceful demonstration and petition signing at the well-known AFAR stand at the Bank of Ireland, Westmoreland Street from 12.30-3pm.

Last year there were140 boycott-P&G events all over the world to inform the public that P&G, one of the largest companies on the planet selling its products in virtually every country in the world, still routinely poisons and kills thousands of animals every year; it’s pet’ food subsidiary, IAMS/Eukanuba, continues to secretly vivisect and kill cats, dogs and other animals in ‘pet’ food research in tests not required by law; and P&G even persists in killing animals in the development of cosmetics - despite such testing being, in effect, outlawed in the UK.
Opinion polls show that a large majority of shoppers would buy ‘cruelty free’ if only they were given the information and the opportunity. With your help we can put a huge amount of pressure on P&G to stop their involvement in animal experiments.
P&G products include Olay, Max Factor, Head &
Shoulders, Pantene, Ariel & Sunny Delight.

Yes, i'll be there. P&G have gone too far with their "research" --- something needs to be done!
see you there!

I suppose you don't see any conflict between what you are trying to achieve for animals and your e-mail address, do you? (Brian Cass is the president of Huntingdon Life Sciences.)

Do you not realise that's all P&G need to use to dismiss any well-reasoned argument you might come out with?
