Residents Against Racism called a protest at 12.30pm today Wednesday March 16th at the Garda National Immigration Bureau on Burgh Quay

From a report by someone who was in the GNIB offices yesterday: "Among those to be deported is a 19 year old who has been here for 5 years and is to sit his Leaving Cert in June. He has no family alive. His solicitor was with him so we were a bit optimistic but as we were leaving the guy was lifted and taken home to pack his luggage for deportation."

I was going to post this as a seperate thread, but here will do I guess.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea about what has happened with the BNP's so-called "Eire First Campaign" aka the "Eire First Fund"? The pages about it seem to have disappeared from their website (though are still retrievable through Archive.org's wayback machine [ www.wayback.org ] ).

For those of you who don't remember, in March 2004 the BNP decided it would orientate towards 'keeping Ireland Irish' (ie white) and was apparently trying to fund a far right challenge in the local election that June.

Anyone 'in the know' have any idea whats happening with this? Has it been abandoned or what?

Also, I remember last year reading a Searchlight article on Justin Barrett and his links to the BNP. This article seems to have disappeared too - the only link I can find to it on a Stormfront thread. The address was http://www.searchlightmagazine.com/stories/042004_story02.htm but they seem to have reorganised the site using php. Even the Wayback machine doesn't have it archived. I don't suppose anyone out there has a copy they could post here or email to me?

Cheers.

PS I'll let you know when the site is finally up and running - sometime in the next month... HOPEFULLY.
