Dissent Dublin was set up out of the meeting on Sunday to organise for the G8 protests in Scotland this July. If you want to get involved then come along to our next meeting which will be at 15.00 on March 5th in the Teachers Club, 36 Parnell Square.

There is now a Dissent Ireland website online at http://www.dissenteire.tk/ From this "Dissent Ireland is a local working group of the DISSENT NETWORK. Dissent Ireland is a network of activists who have come together to organise against the G8 Summit to be held in Scotland in July of 2005. The group is open to anyone who is willing to work within the hallmarks of Peoples Global Action"

Dissent isn't any single group but a range of groups and tactics (black bloc is a tactic not a group remember). Have a look at the web site and you'll get the idea.

I wonder if this is the usual suspects already playing the good protester / bad protester game?
