Hill of Tara volunteers needed Wednesday in Dublin

We need people in Dublin on Wednesday to assist the public in making submissions to the Environment Committee and the Minister, Dick Roche.

Over the last two weekends we have assisted the public in making over 7,000 submissions to the Environment Committee and the Minister for the Environment, Dick Roche. A submission is much stronger than a petition signature. It has to be responded to directly.

This Wednesday, our group, along with experts, will make a presentation to the Committee, and we would like to set up a couple of tables around the city. People put their details on prewritten letters, which they read first.

In addition, over the coming weekends we hope to have collection centres in other cities around the country. We have an anchor person in Belfast, Cork and Galway, if anyone there wants to help.
