Antiwar groups have organised a day of action against the war on Dec 1st 2004, the day of the sentencing of Mary Kelly in Limerick Circuit Court at 9.30 to lunch time.

In Dublin we are organising a demo at Government Buildings Merrion Sq from 1 to 2pm.

In Limerick we are organising a demo outside the Courthouse, Limerick City Centre in solidarity with Mary from 9.30 to 1pm.

There will also be a picket outside Dail Eireann at 6-7pm for those who can't make the lunchtime event.

Mary would like people who are protesting on Dec 1st to carry a flower in memory of the 100,000 Iraqi dead.

We have prepared some resources for download on the Antiwar Ireland website here: http://www.antiwarireland.org/downloads.htm

Please download, print and circulate as much as you can.

Court sittings involving anti-war activists.
On the first of December there will be two court sittings involving anti-war activists.
In Limerick circuit court will be the "sentencing hearing" for Mary Kelly.
Ennis district court will be hearing the case of the "boat" crew against bush.
Please try to attend either of these and give support to those who are on trial.

Why has there been a near silence, about the upcoming trials? Specifically regarding Mary Kelly, who was held as something of a national hero, just after she got in that warplane trouble, but now seems to have been deserted?? How pathetic, that so few people can be bothered to even show their fckin FACE in support of someone, who did something we all were proud of, when she risked her freedom to try+help other people. It really makes me angry. Maybe the entire country cant squeeze into Limerick courthouse, but surely some people can "spend" a day, standing by people who are going through the shit. (same goes for the other trial that day).
Dec 1st///
