All Welcome
In the last week of bombing the US has destroyed the city of Falluja and brought hell on earth to its inhabitants. Countless stories of the innocent victims of this illegal war have come out from Falluja. However it is the tens of thousands of stories that will never be told that is the real tragedy.
Over 100,000 have been killed in Iraq since George Bush and Tony Blair, supported by Bertie Ahern went to war in March 2003. No WMDs have been found, a puppet regime has been installed and the US multinationals and oil companies are plundering Iraq's resources.
Ireland is complicit in this brutal imperialist crusade. We must stand in solidarity with those fighting the imperial occupation of Iraq and express our outrage at the propaganda that is being used to justify the on going slaughter by US F16 bombers and marines of the people of Iraq.
its time to bring the second superpower, the only superpower left that can challenge US imperialism, the global anti-war movement - back on to the streets.
Come along to the vigil/protest on Thursday.
