Irish Anti War Movement
Where now for the Anti Capitalist Movement
This years European Social Forum brought together over 20,000 activists from throughout Europe all seeking another Europe, another world. The bloody occupation of Iraq continues to be the harshest reminder we could have of the destructive nature of the neo-liberal agenda. But the movements are growing in strength & diversity. The struggles against war, racism & capitalism are beginning to link up. The warmongers & cavaliers of capital now face a more confident, organised resistance who understand their strength, believe in an alternative, & can work together in the fight against war, racism, social injustice , privatisation, & for a sustainable environment.
