Hundreds of people from all different backgrounds are expected at the Diversity Day Festival this Sunday, 19th September 2004 in Bishop Lucey Park. Diversity Day is now in its third year, and is going from strength to strength. The festivities will commence at 12:30 noon and will conclude at 7:00 pm and will include music (reggae, ska, etc.) poetry, speakers, workshops (Tai Chi, Belly Dancing, etc.), drumming, awareness raising, face painting, juggling, fortune telling (palm reading, tarot reading, etc.), circus performers, art installations and more. There will be a special area just for children' s entertainments.
