Cousin of Rachel Corrie to speak in Galway

Elizabeth Corrie is the cousin of Rachel Corrie, the human rights activist killed 16 March, 2003 by an Israeli soldier in Rafah, Gaza Strip, while she was attempting to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian civilian home. An educator and activist in Atlanta, Georgia, Elizabeth has been working to raise awareness about the significance of Rachel’s life, work and death within the context of the Israeli Occupation of Palestinian Territories.
