Uniting in peace and solidarity

I know many of you do not know me like Bush does not know compassion & truth. However, my name is Laura and I belong to a group of wonderful mothers here in Houston, Texas. It is known as the Mama’s Brigade (www.mamabrigade.org). We work (when we can) together for peace and a better world for our children.

Please join us, in spirit, on June 30th. We will be meeting in Houston at a major park (practicing our right to assemble). We will come together with candles in hand and around 8:30 p.m. begin lighting the candles one by one, eventually forming a large peace symbol. Create a flyer, e-mail, PSA and spread the word to hold your own! Please pass onto other towns, cities, countries! We chose this date as it is the date for the Handover.

I have strived my hardest to reach out to everyone. I have contacted all fifty states of the US and Australia, Mexico, Portugal, India, China, Japan, Spain, UK, Sweden, Israel, Egypt, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Belgium, Columbia, Serbia, Bahrain, and working on many more.

If you have connections, try to get an aerial shot of your illuminated peace symbol!
