Fairview and the War

A public meeting is being held in Fairview in which 3 well-known local speakers will discuss the impact of the Iraq invasion on their lives, the current situation in Iraq and
the prospects of keeping Ireland out of any future wars of aggression. In addition an expert archeologist will speak about the destruction of Iraq's cultural heritage.

Deirdre Clancy, direct action anti-war activist with the Pitstop Ploughshares
Maggie Ronayne, archeologist at University College Galway and member of Global Women's Strike
