Recent statements from the HEA and the OECD would indicate that
further privatisation, in whatever guise, is on the cards in higher
education. Yet there has been little discussion of what it might
mean - for those that work in higher education, those that want
to study at third level and society at large. This seminar will
relate experience elsewhere, look at the implications of further
privatisation here and begin the discussion of what response
the education sector should have.
