Dublin Anarchist meeting - 7.30pm Thursday 20th May

In the past year, Quebec's Liberal government has led a ferocious attack against working people. New labour laws have opened the door for subcontracting and union busting. Public transport, heating and daycare costs, amongst others, have dramatically risen.

Gladly, these attacks have not taken place without resistance. Thousands have mobilized and taken action.

2 members of Groupe La Commune, the Montreal group of the Northeastern Federation of Anarcho-Communists (NEFAC, http://www.nefac.net), will speak about the situation in Quebec. From involvement in broad social movements to the specific activity of their group, they will explain how anarchists are part of the fight against a right-wing government.

Teachers Club, 35 Parnell square, 7.30pm Thursday 20th May
