Dublin - Reports of Police Activity around the RTS area

Reports are coming in of police activity and harrasment around the area where a Reclaim the Streets party has taken place today in Dublin.

Indymedia has learnt reports that at around 8pm this evening, police has been stopping some people leaving the RTS street party, and searching their bags.

Vehicles in the surrounding area have also been searched by police, and some people being put into an unmarked police car.

might be worth reading in Garda Land,
RTS land, IrlGov Land, Soft Listening Radio Land, all FM land, but eh "hello there, not judge land ok".

That is terrible news.
I suppose the Gardaí have to be seen to fill up the cells in Cloverhill they freed up. They wouldn't want to look like they wasted taxpayers' money preparing for a full scale war when all they got was a peaceful street party.
If anyone has news as to what they are charged with or future court dates etc. Post here. We must show support.
