the Twin Fires.

On Saturday, May 1st there will be a twin fire ceremony for the protection
of the Tara Skryne magical valley. This ceremony will be held on Tara Hill
itself and it is free and open to all. The Druids of the Dark Moon Grove
will facilitate this ceremony.

Our intention is to call on the sacred energies of the archangels, the fairy
realm, the heavenly bodies, on our magical ancestors and on the spirit and
guardians of the ancient temples to re-create a protective Dome of Light
over Tara. We offer to call out the names of all those who also support our
intention - please email your name to us at the link below if you wish your
name to be called out.

We will hold a full Beltine solar ceremony in Irish and add the "Ritual of
Protection" that we have held every full moon since Lunar Samhain 2003. We
hope that others will support our magical intention for Tara. If you can,
please attend or send light energy to add to our efforts. We will extinguish
a candle lantern flame and ignite two fires held in cast iron potbellies (no
downward heat). Those attending will have the opportunity to pass between
the twin fires cleansing their Auras and to ritually prepare for the bright
half of the year and the looming battle to save the temples of our spiritual
heritage.

On Lunar Samhain 03, the Dark Moon Grove called upon Tlachtga (earth
goddess) and her three sons (Muach, Cumma agus Doirb) at the Triple Fires of
the Hill of the Bard, Tara Hill and the Hill of the Witches to 'stand to'
and to make this land safe again. Now, on May 1st 04, we will call upon Bilé
(the noble warrior) and Danu (our mother goddess), the parents of Dagda,
(the good god and patron of Druidism), as this is the feast of Bilé (aka Bel
and Belenus) to accept our intentions as pure and to bring together and hold
the light energies that will be sent from all over the world to protect
Tara. This is a call from the hearts of many humans to the love of the
ancestor gods to make their presence be strongly felt.

Meet - Saturday 1stMay, at 8:30pm at the Stile in the car park at Tara.
Bring - A few small twigs / branches of Thorn for the Fire.
(the prohibition on burning Thorn is always lifted at Beltine)
Location - Tara, the southern end of the Banqueting Hall / just north of the
Rath of the Synods / by the north west quarter of the old church graveyard =
on the gravel patch about 50 steps behind the statue of St. Patrick.....
