Anti-war activists must support this protest
The Irish Anti-War Movement call for a protest at the US Embassy (Ballsbridge, Dublin) next Monday (19th April, 7pm) must be supported by as many anti-war groups and activists as possible.
According to the IAWM, the protest is “against the massacre of 600 men, women and children in Fallujah and to show solidarity with the Iraqi people in their struggle for real freedom”.
With the US gearing up for a showdown against Al Sadr in Najaf (thousands of troops are assembled on the outskirts of the city) and with a resumption of its carnage in Fallujah a distinct possibility, it’s vital that Bush’s representatives in Ireland and our own shoneen government are made aware in no uncertain terms of our total opposition to this latest wave of US violence in Iraq.

The latest IAWM bulletin informs us that this protest will now go ahead at the US Embassy at 6pm, not 7pm as previously announced by the IAWM.
