Dublin MEP Proinsias De Rossa, Oisín Ó Cuanacháin, Secretary General of the Irish section of Amnesty International, and Oisín Coughlin of Christian Aid will report on their recent visits to Palestine. All welcome.
Dublin MEP De Rossa, recently returned from a fact-finding mission to Palestine where he inspected the separation wall under construction through the West Bank, will address a report back meeting on Thursday 15 April, 6.00pm in the European Parliament Dublin offices, Molesworth Street, Dublin 2.
Colm Ó Cuanacháin, Secretary General of the Irish Section of Amnesty International, will also address the meeting.
Oisín Coughlin of Christian Aid, who accompanied a recent Irish parliamentary delegation to the Occupied Territories, will be the third speaker.
The speakers will report on their observations in Palestine, including the disastrous implications of the separation wall currently under construction, and the crisis situation the Palestinian population are facing. Speakers will address the human rights aspect of the EU’s trade agreement with Israel.
