Protest to Ban Fur Farming

Protest March 31st arrive between 12 - 12.30 outside Dail, Kildare St.

Fur farming is still legal in Ireland for some reason. Each year thousands of mink and rabbits are killed inhumanely for the sole purpose of harvesting them for their fur. Dan Boyle, TD for the Greens is introducing a bill to the Dail to ban this barbaric practice outright. We need to highlight this issue to the Minister for Agriculture and we feel that by holidng our protest at this time will put significant pressure on the Minister and hence facilitate passing this bill in the Dail.
