New Frontiers - art from new EU Member States

3 March - 30 May

As the European Union prepares to welcome ten new member states during
Ireland's presidency of the EU, the National Gallery of Ireland is marking
this special occasion with an exhibition of some 60 works from the national
galleries in each of the ten accession countries (Cyprus, Czech Republic,
Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovak Republic and
Slovenia). The exhibition covers the late-nineteenth and first half of the
twentieth centuries .
