The 1916-21 Club. for those of you who are unfamilliar with its history and aims, was set up in 1945 by veterens of both the Pro and Anti treaty I.R.A to heal the divisions of the Civil war and to work towards achieveing an Irish Republic. The club was for many years a veterens organisation and later incorporated the "Old Dublin Brigade I.R.A. Association" In recent years the club has become more of a historical / republican "think tank" where all shades of republicanism (Red's as well as a wide spectrum of Greens!!!) are welcome. A number of the clubs members are well known and published historians. WE ARE NOT TIED TO ANY REPUBLICAN POLITICAL PARTY OR GROUPING.
