A Chomráidí,
Tá feachtas nua bunaithe chun stádas oifigiúil a bhaint amach don Ghaeilge san Eoraip. Táimid ag cur brú ar Rialtas na hÉireann an cheist a ardú i bPairlimint na hEorpa. Tá sé tábhachtach a chur in iúl gurb iad ár rialtas féin atá ag diúltú aitheantas a fháil don Ghaeilge, ní Rialtas na hEorpa.
Caithfimid a léiriú dóibh nach bhfuil Gaelgóirí na tíre seo mar shaoránaigh dara aicmeacha.
Irish, the national language of Ireland, does not have official working language status in the EU. The languages of all other member states do. A Europe-wide campaign is currently underway to obtain this important recognition. It is up to the Irish Government to request official working status for Irish but, so far, it is refusing to act on the issue, failing to recognise its own citizens.
A new inter-college organisation, Aontas na nGael Óg, has been established to promote the campaign among young people throughout Ireland. Student support is essential. Stand up and let your voice be heard.
Seasaigí an fód ar son cearta daonna, ar son do theanga.
Is muid,
Na Gaeil Óga
