There's a cranky old Judge called Joe Mangan
Who would love the return of the hangman
He's a cranky old bollix
and an old alcholic
He'll have to make do with a Clare-ban
Now some folk might think it unfair
To be banned from the County of Clare
But this rude little sod,
In his court, thinks he's God
So be careful, my friends what you wear
You'd better not voice an opinion
While sitting in Mangan's dominion
And speak not of Hussein
for it drives him insane
You'll be set upon by Garda minions
Just to prove he's an absolute spanner
he will confiscate anti-war banners
then he'll bellow and roar
and he'll show you the door
and complain about YOUR lack of manners!

Normally I begin to lose it when I see poetry, but the above is excellent, an absolute classic, and is in keeping with a long established tradition. You should copyright it under your own name.

After refusing mercy or absolution
He goes for a tipple with the prosecution
Satisfied that Clare is free for a while
Of activists trying cramp their style
.
Jaysus! A garda with a number!
No wonder the judge looks startled.
