Cork protestors celebrate release of Anti-War campaigner from prison

An Anti-War fundraiser gig takes place this Saturday at An Spailpin Fanach in Cork, from 8.30pm.
Sangre Latino, The Barefoot Blues Band and Snatch are amongst the acts to perform.

Cork Anti-War Protestors are holding a fundraising gig to celebrate the release of Fintan Lane from prison.

Fintan Lane was arrested and fined for peacefully protesting against the use of Shannon by US warplanes, and spent 45 days in Limerick jail for non-payment of this fine.

The event kicks off at 8.30pm Saturday 24th January at An Spailpin Fanach, Cork.

Performers Sangre Latino, the Barefoot Blues Band, and comedy improvisation team, Snatch will provide an unusual recipe for an unmissable night.
