Mussolini to lead neo-fascist list
Alessandra Mussolini, gand niece of the fascist dictator, has split from the "post Fascist" Alleanza Nazionale (National Alliance) and will take part in a new extreme right list for the European elections.
The final straw for Mussolini and others within the AN was AN leader GianFranco Fini's visit to Israel and his distancing of the party from fascism.
The list will be made up by Mussolini and her supporters along with the extreme right Fiamma Tricolore (tricolour flame), who split with the fascists when they formed the AN. It also includes the extreme right Fronte Sociale Nazionale (national social front) and the neo-nazi Forza Nouva (new force), who have been building in recent years.
The symbol of the list will be the old fascist flame and it will be called "Together for a Social Movement". (the old fascist party was called Social Movement of Italy, MSI). The aim of the list is to return fascism to it's roots with all theat means for workers, minorities and immigrants. Their politics is extreme right wing anti semitic, anti prodestant and against anyone else who doesn't fit in to their description of Italian nationalist.
