Meeting About upcoming EU Presidency

There will be a meeting on Thursday the 18th of December in Javas Coffee House on Abbeygate Street at 8pm to discuss the upcoming EU leaders meeting which will be held in Galway in mid-January.

We have an opportunity to show how we feel about the effects of neo-liberal policies and the direction of the EU, including the militarisation of the EU, racist immigration laws, fair trade issues, and privatisation of public services.

At the meeting on Thursday we hope to kick start the organising of any protests and other activities around these issues.
