Cork Bin Tax Demo this evening

Members of the Householders Against Service Charges group will picket Cork City Hall this evening in protest against the imminent withdrawal of the refuse collection service from householders who have not paid the bin tax

Cork City Council recently notified city householders that they would be withdrawing the bin collection service from non-payers. It is believed that November 30th will be the starting date for this.

Householders Against Service Charges will picket City Hall in Cork this evening (starting at 5pm) in advance of a City Council meeting. HASC has promised a major campaign on the issue and has reiterated its "Don't Pay" message.
