John Gormley for Political Discussion Society [PDS] in NUIG

This Monday 17th November 8pm at the O'Flaherty Theatre NUIG, leader of the Green Party, John Gormley TD is to speak at the PDS. As this was only very recently organised I'm not sure what the motion or topic is for the night. I'm not even sure if there is anyone organised to debate with John Gormley. Look out for posters around college.

Political Discussion Soc [PDS]
The Society was established over thirty years ago to ensure discussion of issues of national and international importance. The Society is politically orientated without a political agenda and reaches out to all facets of the student body culminating in a cross section of the university. They see it as their role to promote amongst the student populace and the broader centre of population in the West of Ireland, an awareness of the issues affecting contemporary Ireland. This year the Society will be hosting An Tánaiste Mary Harney, Leader of Seanad Éireann, Senator Mary O’Rourke & GAA President Séan Kelly
