An Post management putting the poor mouth on again

The new An Post chairman Donal Curtin is putting the poor mouth on once again.

All An Post staff nationwide are being summoned for special mmetings with management this afternoon to discuss yet more cutbacks and rationalisation in An Post following on from the huge losses announced recently. Hasn't it not occured to the management or they that thick that they can't even comprehend that these losses are mostly a once off occurance caused by the previous rationalisation deal agreed with the Communuications Workers Union (CWU) which has already proved to be a public relations disaster due to the closure of rural post offices in areas such as Clonakilty. I suspect that the real reason tha this is being done is to soften up the An Post workforce for the announcement that An Post won't pay use the miserly 3% due under the PPF in November. Well if they think that this is going to intimidate the An Post workforce then they are sorely mistaken. They'll have a huge fight on their hands. I expect to be summonsed myself this afternoon.
