I hear that there's a good spellcheck on Microsoft Word. It's surprising what you learn using it...like that needles are little sharp things that you can inject drugs with. Perhaps you meant 'needless'. (See website)

What can I say Damon babe, it's not my language..a colonial imposition... just look at misspellings & typos as cultural resistance...or I could say I was in a hurry...or I could say...man, chill "the medium is the massage", but what part of your anatomy are you massaging when you go on indymedia, looking for typos...when brothers and sisters are in jail for resistance....you're not seeing the wood for the trees dude...but I guess everyone's gotta have a hobby and yours in trolling indymedia for typos....go outside the weahtehr is great, inhale, deep breath now

It could be you
Prisoner support should be a collaborative effect between the different anko organisions in Ireland, i have written several times, bout how prisoner work is something we all could work on, leading to break downs of barriers, and the ever
so sectarianism within the anarchist movement in Ireland.
To resist the prison system is to resist the states social control, racism, sexism, homophobia and capitalist exploitation of labour and the enviroment.
As we build as a movement, we will begain to challenge their power, the system will turn to violent repression and political imprisonment to protect itself.
We as a movement must have a prisoner support running through the centre of our movement, or the state will simply destroy us, we must therefore be capable of
sustaining our movement in the face of state repression and police intimidation.

When you hit your early 30's you'll be asking yourself "what was I thinking?". Look around you at your fellow anarchists - all a bit young and inexperienced, aren't they?

author by Anonymouspublication date Fri Aug 08, 2003 18:47author address author phone

Seanin, there are Socialists & Anarchists in their 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's (Im sure 90's, just haven't come across one yet).

Unfortunately the idealism & energy of youth burns out as one gets older, and time restrictions (marraige, kids, mortgages etc.) mean that the predominant age group are those in their 20's, especially those that are active on the streets.

Also note that Socialists & Anarchists come from all range of backgrounds - including business, banking & IT backgrounds, in case you were thinking they were all on the dole or something.

Regards.
