Peace protesters in court again

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Thursday June 26, 2003 15:04author by Claudia - Legal Support Teamauthor email legal.support at lycos dot co dot uk

Three of the anti-war protesters arrested outside the city hall in Belfast on the 8th of April had to turn up in court again. Tomas' next date will be the 24th of July, even though he doesn't have to turn up himself- so far he had to come across the water from England for every hearing in court. Colette and Lucas both got adjourned to the 7th of August- the same date as some of the other protesters arrested that day. Today only two supporters made it on time, maybe we have some more next time? (Meeting outside the court at 10am).

these guys are yesterday's protestors, no wonder we don't have time to go to their court cases.

wouldn't it be a bit too
"Kafka-esque"
to organise solidarity protests for tomorrows arrestees?
