National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) students are organising a march tomorrow, Thursday 3 March to protest Indavers plans to build a 240,000 tonne municipal and industrial waste incinerator just 20m from the entrance to the College.

National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) students are organising a march tomorrow, Thursday 3 March to protest Indavers plans to build a 240,000 tonne municipal and industrial waste incinerator just 20m from the entrance to the College.

CIT Students Union President, Shane Falvey, will be at the march and is objecting to An Bord Pleanala on behalf of the student body at NMCI on account of the unacceptable health and safety risks [1] the incinerator poses to students.

Protestors will gather from 12.30pm at Ringaskiddy Community Centre and march down to the Indaver site at 1.00pm.

The wider community is invited to come and support the students. ALL WELCOME
