Protest in Dublin at French arrest of Arturo Benat Villanueva at Spanish state extradition request!

Arturo/ benat villanueva, a basque political activist, has been living in belfast from 2003 until this year when he went to live in the northern (french-controlled) basque country. He was arrested under the same warrant that a british court rejected previously.

Saoirse do Arturo Benat Villanueva! protest this Monday 3 September 5.30 pm at Alliance Francaise, the French Embassy's cultural centre at the corner of Nassau Street and Kildare Street.

The Spanish media has already convicted Benat, calling him an ETA member before he even enters court. He has always been a political activist but in the Spanish media and courts' eyes, working for Basque independence is to be a "terrorist".

SAOIRSE DO ARTURO BENAT VILLANUEVA! PROTEST THIS MONDAY AT ALLIANCE FRANCAISE, THE FRENCH EMBASSY'S CULTURAL CENTRE.
