Cancel the Donkeys cruel spectacle and lets see some real talent.

The AFAR group has been contacted by various people expressing their disgust at the prospect of an animal abusing event in Galway. Are Donkey derbys not a relic of bygone days?
This is the front page of the CURRENT Galway Independent. As part of a forthcoming "comedy" festival, radio presenter (Hector OhEochagáin) is publicising a Donkey Derby.
AFAR is totally opposed to cruel spectacles especially in light of the increasing number of horse and equine cases that have come to light.animal violations are increasing at an alarming rate as any one will confirm who is involved in animal protection.
This farce of bygone days shows lact of iniative and forethought and blatent disregard for sentient gentle animals.

The Cork Donkey Sanctuary also oppose this event.
We want this cruel activity canceled and removed from the programe of the forthcoming Galway Comedy Festival.

OUR AFAR ACTION ALERT;
Please email, phone or text the organiser,, explaining to them that using donkeys in this way is very stressful,cruel and totally unnecessary. There are many ways to enjoy a festival without using a defenseless animal for gambling and for laughs

I dont get out too much(its the economic house-arrest) and I only know Hector's bray from the radio.

So which of those donkeys in the Independent photo is the broadcasting loodrumyawn?
